BC2010 SC2 Show Match: FruitDealer vs. SlayerSBoxer
Set One: Lost Temple - FruitDealer Win
Boxer is able to setup a bunker outside FruitDealers’s expansion which is taken down with little frustration. While applying Repear pressure Boxer is able to safely expand. FrutiDealer replies with Roaches and is eventually pushed back. Boxer is able to accumulate a large force of Marines and Maruaders and pushes onto FruitDealer who holds that attack and sneaks a third expansion. FruitDealer stays with mainly a Zergling/Baneling/Roach force and Boxer begins to tech to Thors. He begins to drop the Thors on the high ground above FruitDealers expansion with some Marines and SCVs applying a large amount of pressure. FruitDealer opts to get a fourth expansion while dropping Roaches on the high ground to deal with the Thor. And then is able to sneak a well timed Baneling drop in Boxer’s mineral line. There is a few push backs but neither of them are able to deal any great amount of damage. With the mobility of Medivacs he is able to drop Thors in FruitDealer’s expansions. With some back and forth harassment FruitDealer is able to dwindle Boxer’s forces and take the victory.
Some things to note on the micro end of the world for Zerg players, FruitDealer was dealing with annoying harass from Banshees, so to protect his units he would simply load them into his Overlords.
Set Two: Metalopolis - Win Unknown
FruitDealer fast expands to the Gold expansion after having his bases split by bunkers. Boxer in his initial scouting does not find it. (At this point I lost server connection with Blizzcon. Sorry!)
