BC2010 SC2 Invite: Loner vs. SEN
Set 1: Metalopolis - Loner Wins
SEN started the game out with a fast expand and mass producing drones. Loner meanwhile started fairly standard and went for a mass bio build. Loner kept the pressure up while SEN stayed on the defensive with heavy roach play. Loner constantly harass with a viking taking out multiple overlords. Loner’s final bio plus tank push broke through SEN’s defenses and won him the set.
Set 2: Xel’Naga Caverns - Loner Wins
SEN once again went went with hatch before pool, while Loner attempted some early reaper play, but quickly gave up on it. After Loner killed SEN’s scouting overlord, he quickly threw up three more barracks for a total of five. SEN soon tried to prod Loner’s new expansion, but found it guarded by marauders with concussive shells and quickly backed off. Soon after Loner pushed out with a massive bio-ball, catching SEN off-guard and without enough units. SEN managed to defend the push, but only after losing the majority of his drones, then gg’d out.
