Protoss vs Zerg Strategy Guide
xDaunt, a frequent poster on the TeamLiquid forums was able to create a strategy, early in September, that can greatly increase a Protoss’ survival and likelihood of victory when a game develops into the late game. Often times a Protoss player handles well in the early game by providing pressure on the Zerg and delaying the Zerg expansion. Oftentimes as the game develops a Protoss player is not able to adaquetly deal with a Zerg who can choose between mass Hydralisk or mass Mutalisk, both of which require two separate responses, meaning that the Protoss needs to know which the Zerg is doing and if you don’t find out fast enough your death is eminent. And even worse if the game transitions into late game your stuck again with the Zerg able to go Broodlords or Ultralisk depending on how well you previously countered him.
Well in this guide xDaunt proposes, and shows with multiple replays a strategy that allows you to deal with both possibilities and to almost negate the late game possibilities any Zerg has. His strategy obviously requires a higher level of attention to detail (scouting/micro) but it is proven to work, and in my opinion be the best way to deal with a Zerg player.
Take a look at it in our source link.
